What do I need to join?
You need to have done or be currently doing coach specific training.
What is coach specific training?
Generally it is a course which actually has the word "coach" as a part of its course title, is delivered face-to-face or by phone and reflects a method of coaching which is aligned with the IAC, AC or ICF.
How much do I have to pay to join?
Nothing. There are four levels of membership and the first level is free and this allows you to join our community, see what's happening and what kind of coaching and mentoring is on offer. After that, if you decide you want to join a round and be matched with a coach/client or mentor/mentee, you can either buy ReciproCoach coins (two needed for most rounds, one needed for some) or a paid membership that includes a certain number of rounds. Which membership is right for me?
All coaches start with the free membership. If you're a bit shy and like to try before you buy, you can buy one coin and join a short round that costs just one ReciproCoach coin. On the other hand, if you're convinced by the experiences of other coaches and want to participate in a normal length round which is usually 8 sessions long and costs two coins to join, then you're best buying a level 2 membership. Level two memberships cost the same as two coins at level one, but gives you the added benefit of being able to accrue free coins by referring new members so that you may not have to buy any more coins to participate or if you could, you can buy additional coins at a 20% discount.
You might also like to participate in two coaching rounds or one coaching round and one mentoring round within a year. In this case, you're best taking a level three membership. Again, you've got the added benefit of getting free coins for referrals plus a 30% discount on any additional coins should you love it so much (and most coaches do) that you want more.
Finally, if you know you're ready to have two coaches and two mentors or four coaches for that matter (basically four rounds of either coaching or mentoring) then you're best taking a level 4 membership. Level 4 members get four rounds of either coaching or mentoring included in their membership, free coins for referrals, 40% discount on coins as well as one free Coach Web Kit product subscription.
When I join, will my details appear on the public website with the other coach profiles?
Only approved coach profiles appear on the public website. If you don’t apply for or receive coach approval, your profile won’t be seen by anyone but you.
What do I need to get approved?
There are two types of approval you may apply for:
i) Approved Coach
ii) Approved Student
Approved Coaches have completed at least 30 hours coach specific training and may join any coaching or mentoring round.
Approved Students are currently undergoing coach-specific training and may only join student rounds.
You need to be a level 2, 3 or 4 member or have at least one coin in your account to apply for approval.
I just signed up. Why can't I login?
Did you receive an email to confirm your email address? Sometimes SPAM assassins delete our confirmation email before you even see them. If this could be you (and it's very common with AOL email addresses), first check you SPAM folder and let the SPAM software you are using know that emails from ReciproCoach.com are not SPAM by clicking the "This is not SPAM" button (or something similar). If you don't find the email in your SPAM folder, your ISP (the people who give you your internet) has deleted it on their end. In this case, sign up for our news updates (on the right of this screen). We pay quite a bit of money to make sure this does get through to you and when it does, you can then reply to that email and let us know you haven't received your confirmation email. If you save our address in your address book, our emails should get through thereafter.
